Sure Shot Film, a local film company based at the POP shop in Dunoon, has been helping the 'We are building a beach hut' project create a series of short films that explore the heritage of Beach huts on West Bay and cover topics including water quality, climate change and the design challenge of placing a new structure on the shore.
The first film titled 'Swimming in West Bay' features interviews with local swimmers and residents Jeannette and Willie Ferguson, Kaye and Lily from Cowal Elderly Befrienders SCIO.
The films form part of a community learning resource linked to the project and will be used in beach hut design sessions taking place at Duoon Grammar School.
You can see the film for yourself just here.
